Pet Pride is honored to be among the finalists in City Magazine’s 2025 "Best of Rochester" awards in the category of Best Pet Adoption Services. These annual awards are based on the results of reader polls, and they’re a great tool for helping Rochesterians discover everything from delicious Italian food to cool independent bookstores to the best in our category, pet adoption services! City Magazine said that this year there were 18,000 nominations and 180,000 votes in 136 categories!
Central to Pet Pride’s success is our fabulous staff. The Pet Pride adoption experience is award-worthy because of the professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and kindness of these extraordinary individuals. We couldn't do it without our indispensable volunteers, who support our staff with a variety of essential tasks and help keep the shelter operating smoothly. We’re grateful, too, to our supporters, who help spread the word about Pet Pride. When more people know about us, we can save more cats!
