A no-kill sanctuary for cats

Become a Sanctuary Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Pet Pride. It takes many hands to operate our sanctuary, and we couldn’t do it without volunteers. Whether you are able to help out on a regular basis or on occasion, we appreciate your time, and so do our cats!

How you can help

Some of our volunteer opportunities are listed below. If you see one that matches your interests, please indicate it on the volunteer application. If you’re not yet sure how you want to help, we’ll work with you after you submit your application to identify the volunteer opportunity that’s best for you. If you have special talents to offer that aren’t described below, we’d like to hear about them!
Housekeeping Volunteer
Clean living quarters are essential to our residents’ health and well-being. Our housekeeping volunteers clean the cat areas, including litterboxes; sweep and vacuum; wash dishes; do laundry; and perform other household tasks.

Sanctuary Liaison
Help us on our busy weekends by welcoming visitors to the sanctuary, providing general information about Pet Pride and its mission, and communicating guidelines for positive interactions with our cats. Must be available on weekends. An interview and training are required.
Special Events Volunteer
We currently hold two fundraising events each year: a golf tournament and a building fund luncheon. Volunteers help make these events successful and profitable.

Community Liaison
Help us reach out to local businesses and represent Pet Pride at community events. Distribute marketing materials or solicit donations of prizes for our fundraisers.

Groundskeeping Volunteer
If you like to work outdoors, you might enjoy helping us maintain our gardens and grounds.
